I have always had a passion for children. They are innocent and full of all sorts of potential. However, not all children are born with the same access, knowledge, nor privilege.  But, I’ve always been willing to share my experiences with those who were willing to listen. Education is the key that unlocks the secrets to success in any endeavor. 

Through my books and motivational speaking I hope to change and enhance as many young lives as possible. I’d like to protect them from harm and make their path a little smoother. This is precisely why I chose to write a book, and why I fly all over the country speaking to large groups of the young and old. Carter G. Woodson was quoted saying, “When you control a man's thinking you do not have to worry about his actions,"which is why I have focused my efforts on minds of young people. 

I also have a great for passion for heightening our youth’s awareness to the vast world of aviation. Of all the pilots in the country, less than .5% are of African American descent. It is pass time for us to make a commitment to increase these deplorable numbers. Therefore, I have established a 501c(3), nonprofit, called The S.O.A.R. Foundation.  My vision is to help young, aspiring pilots to overcome the most daunting obstacle of acquiring flight training - FINANCING THE DREAM, through fun and entertaining fund raisers.
